Jay is also a Co-Founder and CEO at Herald, a startup that provides a platform for teams to collect, analyze, and collaborate on user feedback. He was instrumental in building Herald from scratch and making it one of the best spaces for teams to work on user feedback. Before founding Herald, Jay built Midtype, a platform that helps anyone get their web app up and running quickly. Jay started his career as a Software Engineer at stripe, where he worked on various projects related to onboarding, compliance plans, compliance remediation, financial partner reporting, and more. He has a strong background in web development and is proficient in various programming languages and technologies. Jay holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a BSCS in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Texas-Pan American. He also attended Y Combinator, where he gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship and startup management.
